Erick J, born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, is a Latin urban singer known for blending reggaetón with romantic and pop elements. The third of five siblings, he developed his musical talent early by learning guitar and later fronting the rock band Etapa Final. After transitioning to urban music, he founded the Xtreme Entertainment events company and his own label, Xeai Records. Erick J made his recording debut in 2013 with the single “Llégale Ya” featuring Ken‑Y, which gained significant radio play throughout Puerto Rico. Over the next few years, he followed up with tracks like “Loco con Tu Amor” (2014) and “Poesía de Amor” (2015), further establishing his romantic lyrical style. His 2017 single “Ganando en la Noche” sustained his presence in the Latin music scene, earning attention across digital platforms.
