Yellow Sisters, a Czech female vocal quartet consisting of Antonia Tereza Nyass, Barbora Vaculíková, Lucie Hawa Goldin, and Lenka Jankovská, formed in 2005. The group is known for their a cappella performances inspired by various musical styles, including African music, American soul, and Caribbean reggae. Their repertoire is entirely self-composed, and they describe themselves as "sound illusionists." Yellow Sisters released their first demo CD in 2005, marking the beginning of their career. They gained recognition with the release of Singalana (2006) and continued to produce notable albums such as Tubab Woman (2010) and Zvěřinec (2012). The group is also known for their strong support of human rights.
