Dots Will Echo, an indie rock group from Ridgewood, New Jersey, was formed in 1990. The band consists of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Nick Berry and drummer Kurt Biroc. Their first official album, Dots Will Echo, produced by William Ackerman, was released on High Street Records in 1991. In 1996, the group independently released their second album, Get Your Hands Off My Modem, You Weasel. Nick Berry contributed to William Ackerman’s album Hearing Voices (2001), playing guitar and providing background vocals on “Fear Not Mary” alongside Ugandan-American musician Samite. Dots Will Echo released the double-length album Drunk Is the New Sober / Stupid Is the New Dumb in 2012 through the Asthmatic Kitty label.
