Fellsilent, a British progressive metal band from Milton Keynes, England, was formed in 2003 by Neema Askari, John Browne, Alec Kahney, Max Robinson, and Christopher Mansbridge. The group signed their first recording contract with Basick Records in 2005, releasing their debut EP The Double A later that year. In August 2008, Fellsilent released their first full-length album, The Hidden Words, which was followed by a tour with Enter Shikari. The album was reissued in North America by Sumerian Records. Despite financial setbacks that led to the cancellation of a planned U.S. tour, The Hidden Words saw a successful release. In April 2010, Fellsilent announced their disbandment. Following the split, members pursued other projects: Askari and Browne formed Monuments, while Joe Garrett and Mansbridge started Sonick Movement.
