Kevin Bowe, born February 27, 1961 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is an American songwriter, record producer, and musician. He started his career fronting alternative rock and Americana bands, including The Revelators. His career took off when "Riverside" by The Revelators was covered by Kenny Wayne Shepherd on the platinum-selling album Ledbetter Heights, leading to a songwriting contract with Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller in 1997. Bowe discovered blues guitarist Jonny Lang as a teenager and contributed songs for Lang's breakthrough albums Lie To Me (1997) and Wander This World (1998). He co-wrote four songs on Etta James’ 2003 Grammy-winning album Let's Roll, including "The Blues Is My Business". As a main performer, he released five albums with his roots-rock band Okemah Prophets.
