Gilles Bousquet, known professionally as Mr. Flash, was born in Paris, France on January 1st, 2001 and is a French disc jockey and record producer. He began his musical education at the French Conservatory of Music, studying theory and piano, followed by training at the Tama Drum School in Aix-en-Provence. Mr. Flash's early career involved working on film sets and later as an assistant DA at Delabel, a subsidiary of Virgin Records. In 1999, he produced "Game Over '99" for the French hip-hop group TTC, which garnered interest from Big Dada, a sub-label of Ninja Tune. His breakthrough came in 2003 when he signed with Ed Banger Records and released "Radar Rider", the label's first release. Mr. Flash produced several notable albums, including Sonic Crusader (2014) and Santa Cruz (2024), the latter being the inaugural release on his own label, Heartbreakers Records.
