Katerina Petrivna Bogolyubova, known professionally as Katya Chilly, and born on July 12, 1978, in Kyiv, Ukraine, is a singer and composer. She adopted the stage name Katya Chilly in 1996 and released her debut album Rusalki in da House in 1998. Her breakthrough came after touring with participants of Chervona Ruta, gaining popularity across Ukraine. In 1999, she participated in the Scotland Edinburgh Festival Fringe and performed over 40 concerts in the United Kingdom in March 2001, with parts of her performance broadcast by the BBC. Katya Chilly's third album Ya Molodaya was released in 2005 by Ukrainian Records. She joined the DJuice music tour in October 2007 and visited seven Ukrainian cities.
