Jennifer Gasoi, born circa 1974 in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a Canadian children's musician. She graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in 1996 and further developed her jazz skills at Capilano University. During her post-graduate years, Gasoi performed in local jazz concerts and appeared at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival from 1999 to 2001. In 2004, she released her debut children's album Songs for You. Her second album, Throw a Penny in the Wishing Well, was released in late 2012 and nominated for the Children's Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2013. The album also won the Grammy Award for Best Children's Album in 2014, making Gasoi the first Canadian to win a Grammy in that category.
