London-based singer-songwriter rooted in Americana, country and folk, Hannah White was born in Sidcup, near London. She started with piano and violin as a child, later taught herself and picked up guitar to write her own songs. She released several albums, including Poetry (2009), Noughts and Crosses (2013), Whose Side Are You On? (2016), Elephant Eye (2018), and About Time (2022). Her sound is praised for its emotional honesty, gritty realism, social conscience, and strong storytelling. In 2023 was released Sweet Revolution, which brought her significant recognition. In January 2025, White won the Americana Music Association UK Awards for UK Artist of the Year and UK Album of the Year for Sweet Revolution. In September 2025 followed the album Fine Day, which reached the number 99 on UK Physical Albums Sales chart.
