Emmett Peter "Sonny" Geraci, born on November 22, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, was an American singer. He first gained recognition as the original lead vocalist of The Outsiders, releasing four Top 40 hits with Capitol Records, including "Time Won't Let Me" and "Respectable (What Kind of Girl Is This)". Geraci's most notable success came with Climax, where he sang lead vocals on the hit single "Precious and Few", which reached number 3 on the Billboard charts in 1971. The band released their debut album, Climax featuring Sonny Geraci, in 1972. He filled in for Rob Grill as lead vocalist for The Grass Roots in 2002. After a hiatus from the music industry, Geraci resumed performing in 2007 and toured as Sonny Geraci and The Outsiders. Geraci passed away on February 5, 2017, at the age of 70.
