Hex Girlfriend is a rave-rock two piece project from James Knott and Noah Yorke. They started making music on a laptop in a halls room at Goldsmiths University in 2020, where they became drawn to making music in a way that prioritised the enjoyment derived from the process of working together, without worrying about outside perspectives. They continue to seek to make music in a non-severe and yet still meaningful manner, winding electronic wizardry, theatrical live elements and industrial heaviness tightly together.
