Lito & Polaco, a Latin rap and reggaeton duo from Carolina, formed in 1998 by Rafael Sierra Pascual and Rafael Omar Molina, who were initially part of the group La Industria and were discovered by DJ Eric Industry. In 1998, Lito & Polaco left to form their own duo and signed with Pina Records in 1999. Their debut album Mascrando MC's was released in 2000, followed by Mundo frío in 2002 and Fuera de serie in 2004. The duo achieved significant success with these albums going double platinum in Puerto Rico. In 2005, they separated to pursue solo careers. Lito MC Cassidy remained under Pina Records before leaving in 2007 due to a financial dispute. Polaco signed with Héctor el Father's label and later became an independent artist. The duo reunited in 2014 for a new album and international tour.
