Wagner Borges Ribeiro de Souza, born 15 September 1976 in Brazil, is a Brazilian DJ and music producer known professionally as DJ Patife. He began his career performing at São Paulo’s Arena Music Hall, and in 1997 supported Roni Size during a Mercury Prize event. His debut album, Inta Outa Featuring Tali / I Wanna Get Down, was released in 2003, followed by the single "Overjoyed" in 2006. Throughout the early 2000s, DJ Patife collaborated with artists such as Max de Castro, Marky, and the Drumagick duo, and his remix of "Pra Você Lembrar" gained traction in London club charts. He performed at major festivals, including Rock in Rio 2001, and toured internationally in the United States, Scotland, London, and Amsterdam. DJ Patife’s work has been featured in compilations like Brazil EP by V Recordings and on releases by Otto and Fernanda Porto, solidifying his presence in the drum’n’bass and electronic music scenes.
