James Emanuel Camacho is an American singer/songwriter and producer from Miami. He co-founded The Goods in 1989, which released five albums through the 1990s. Their single "I'm Not Average" from their album Mint (1995) reached Number One on Florida's Radio & Record charts and won Album of the Year at the Florida Jammy Awards. After disbanding in 1999, Camacho began a solo career with Trouble Doll (2001), Hey Hey (2003), Stalker Songs (2004) and Beachfront Defeat (2009). His music video for "Houdini" won awards at the 40th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival and the 27th Annual Telly Awards. He also contributed to film and television soundtracks, including Tom Dowd & the Language of Music and National Lampoon's Pledge This!.
