Jingle Cats, a novelty music group from the United States of America, was created by producer Mike Spalla. The band's concept revolved around mixing actual animal sounds to match musical tones, with their first release being a version of "Jingle Bells" sent to radio stations before their debut album. Their breakthrough came in 1993 with Meowy Christmas, which reached number 86 on the Billboard chart and was sold out a week before Christmas. The following year, they released Here Comes Santa Claws, featuring Spalla's cats and his dog Klippy Kloppy, which won a Billie Award from Billboard for point-of-purchase category in 1995. This success led to national tours and live television appearances. Subsequent albums included Rockabye Christmas (1997) and Rhythm and Mews (2002). The group also ventured into merchandise, video games, and collaborations with Hallmark Cards.
