Jacques Kuba Séguin, born in Poland to a Québécois father and a Polish mother, is a Canadian trumpeter, composer, and orchestrator. Throughout his career, he led several ensembles, including MiGRATIONS, Litania Projekt, and Odd Lot. In 2019, Séguin released Migrations, which won both the Juno Award for Solo Jazz Album of the Year in 2020 and the Felix Award for Jazz Album of the Year at the 42nd Felix Awards. He was also a winner of the 2012-13 Radio-Canada Revelations prize, and has been nominated for multiple ADISQ awards. His discography includes albums such as Odd Lot (2005) and Parfum no.1 (2023).
