D Sturdy, Sou, and PGS Spence, the teens who comprise Philly Goats, are redefining what virality and success can mean in the music industry. D Sturdy and Sou are brothers, and alongside their childhood friend, Spence, they have brought Philly club music to the forefront of rap, creating an entirely new genre built around good vibes, better dance moves, and having as much fun as possible. The trio—with a freshly inked Def Jam deal—have their eyes on even greater heights. To hear the Goats explain it, they’ve always had an aura and energy that led them to believe they were destined for stardom. Whether breakdancing in their Philly neighborhoods, hanging out at studios, or dominating the viral charts with singles like “X Em” and “THE SHAKEOVER,” the Goats attracted attention with everything they did. So, as longtime friends obsessed with rap music, they decided to turn those studio hangs into productive sessions, laying down vocals together and establishing the Philly Goats in 2021.
