Antonio Hughes, known professionally as Check Chasin Tone, is an American rapper, and songwriter from the Northside of Jacksonville, Fl. In 2010 Tone graduated high school and went off to college in hopes to one day play in the NFL. Tone had a brief stint at The University of South Florida as a young Defensive back with a promising future before realizing music was where his heart was. Tone left college in 2013 to pursue those music dreams. In 2014 along with a friend Tone released his first ever mixtape “Street Dreams” which became popular amongst the college he had once attended but really didn’t get him the recognition he deserved. Tone went own to release singles here and there before dropping a long awaited EP Product Of My Environment (P.O.M.E) in 2017 Which got his name buzzing a bit with his single 1hunnid and can be found on Apple Music. Now in 2020 moves are constantly being made and he’s on his way to stardom. Tone has a new single entitled Soul Bleed featuring well known Florida artist Koly P set to be released in late 2020 along with an amazing visual.
