Marina Hernandez Herlop, born in 1992 in Piera, Spain, is a Catalan experimental musician known for her roles as a pianist and composer. She began studying piano at age nine and later earned her professional diploma from the Conservatory of Badalona in 2017. Herlop's debut album Nanook was released in 2016, followed by Babasha in 2018, which introduced electronic elements. Her third album, Pripyat (2022), marked a full transition into electronic music, incorporating influences from Indian Carnatic music and phonetic vocals. In September 2023, she announced her fourth album Nekkuja, releasing the single "La Alhambra" on the same day, along with tour dates across Europe and North America.
