Maria Dunn (born 1966) is a Scottish-born Canadian Celtic folk, bluegrass, and country singer-songwriter and musician based in Edmonton. Dunn studied classical piano and performed in choirs before moving to Ontario and later Alberta. From 1987 to 2000, Dunn hosted a weekly folk program on CJSR radio. Dunn released the debut album From Where I Stand in 1998. Subsequent recordings include For a Song (2001), Gathering (2016), and Joyful Banner Blazing (2021). The 2021 album won the Juno Award for Traditional Roots Album of the Year and spent four weeks at Number 1 on the CKUA Radio chart. Dunn released the album Hardscrabble Hope in 2025. Dunn collaborated with the Women of Folkways series and performed at festivals across Canada, the USA, and Europe.
