Angolan born Tendekasha Is a singer, songwriter & percussionist who has always been strong about singing and expressing himself through his music.
He was born in Luanda, with the name Francisco Dos Santos.
He began singing at the age of six years of age.
Tendekasha and his family were war refugees who found refuge in Portugal.
For many years, Tendekasha struggled with war trauma from his early years in Angola.
His love of music, however, helped him overcome these adversities.
In his youth, he found solace in music, and through his father’s wide music collection, he versed himself in a diverse range of genres. He is a graduate from the School of Oriental and African Studies, (SOAS) University of London.
His debut album is entitled titled INNER TUNE.
He won an AKADEMIA Music Awards for Best Reggae Song, with the song tilted POETIC JUSTICE.
Tendekasha is currently working on his second EP/album and has released his latest work titled PEACE n LOVE.
