...And Oceans, a Finnish metal band, was formed in 1989 as Festerday. The group initially played death metal but later transitioned to symphonic black metal and industrial-oriented sounds. In 1995, the band changed its name to ...And Oceans and released their debut album The Dynamic Gallery of Thoughts in 1998 under Season of Mist. This was followed by A.M.G.O.D. (Allotropic/Metamorphic Genesis of Dimorphism) in 2001, which raised the band's profile through a European tour with Marduk, Vader, and Mortician. The album Cypher was released in 2002. In 2005, the band changed its name to Havoc Unit. After five years, they reverted to Festerday in 2013. The band returned as ...And Oceans in January 2020 with the album Cosmic World Mother under Season of Mist and released As in Gardens, So in Tombs in January 2023.
