Gone, an American rock band formed in late 1985 by Greg Ginn, began as a side project to his main group Black Flag. With bassist Andrew Weiss and drummer Sim Cain, Gone released their debut album “Gone” in 1986 on SST Records, followed by “Let's Get Gone, Real Gone for a Change” later that year. Following the release of “Gone II: But Never Too Gone!” in 1986, Ginn disbanded Black Flag and focused on Gone. The band continued releasing material through 1987, including “Goner.” In 1993, Ginn revived Gone with a new rhythm section, releasing additional albums including “Criminal Mind” (1993) and “Country Dumb” (2006). The band returned in 2007 with the triple CD “The Epic Trilogy.”
