Minibosses, a progressive rock band from Northampton, Massachusetts, formed in 1999 by Aaron Burke and Matt Wood. The group gained attention for their rock reinterpretations of original video game music, notably from titles like Mega Man, Metroid, and Castlevania. Their first album, The Minibosses, was released in 2000, featuring both original tracks and covers. The band later re-recorded older songs due to dissatisfaction with the initial recording quality. Subsequent albums include Live at the Middle East (2004), Brass (2005), and Hey Lonnie... Get Your Brass Away from There (2011).
