Lörihen, a heavy metal band from Argentina, was formed in Buenos Aires in 1996 by guitarist Emiliano Obregón. The group's name is derived from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, specifically the forest of Lórien. Lörihen released their debut album, Utopía, in 2000 under Nems Records. Their second album, Antes de tiempo, was published by Heaven Records in 2001 and included cover versions of Skid Row, Rata Blanca, and V8. The band gained significant recognition through live performances, participating in international festivals such as Monsters of Rock 2005 alongside Judas Priest and Whitesnake. Lörihen's discography includes notable albums like Paradigma (2003), Bajo la cruz (2007), Aún sigo latiendo (2015), and Desconexión (2018). The band has toured extensively across Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
