UNB was a South Korean boy band, formed through the KBS reality competition show The Unit in 2018. The project aimed to revitalize the careers of idols who had previously debuted. The group consisted of Euijin, Feeldog, Daewon, Marco, Ko Ho-jung, Ji Han-sol, Jun, Chan, and Kijung. The members came from diverse backgrounds, including established groups such as A.C.E, Bigflo, Big Star, and U-Kiss. They emerged victorious among the male contestants, earning them promotional backing and a lot of fan attention. Their debut was highly anticipated, culminating in a sold-out fan-meeting event. UNB released their debut EP Boyhood in 2019. Boyhood included popular tracks such as "Feeling" and "Only One." It peaked at an impressive number 2 on the Korean charts. They continued to build on their success with the release of their second EP, 2018's Black Heart, just a few months later. This EP included collaborations with other artists who had also participated in The Unit. UNB was awarded the New Star Award at the 2018 Asian Music Awards. They were also nominated for the Rookie Artist Award and Popularity Award at the 2019 Golden Disc Awards and won the Music Star Award at the 2018 Soribada Best K-Music Awards. Despite this success, the group ceased activities in early 2019.
