Pamela Anna Polland (born August 15, 1944) is an American singer-songwriter. She composed her first song at the age of nine and was already performing in folk clubs by her teenage years. Her recording career began in 1966 when she and Rick Stanley formed The Gentle Soul, a folk group with psychedelic influences that released their self-titled album on Epic Records. After the group disbanded, Polland participated in Joe Cocker and Leon Russell’s Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour in 1970. Her solo career began with a self-titled album, released on Columbia Records in 1972. In the 1980s she worked as a vocal coach. She later moved to Maui, Hawaii, where she became involved in local music and formed the ukulele group Keaolani.
