Horkýže Slíže is a Slovak rock band formed on November 4, 1992 by Peter Hrivňák, Mário Sabo, and Martin Košovan. Initially playing hard rock, they later transitioned to comedy rock and punk rock. Their early career saw the release of demo tapes in 1994 and their first unofficial studio album, Prvý slíž, at the end of that year. In 1997, Horkýže Slíže signed with BMG Ariola and released their debut album V rámci oného, featuring the single "Maštaľ". The band's breakthrough came with the album Festival Chorobná in 2001, which included hits like "Kožky-perie" and "Lístok na Mars". Their subsequent album Kýže sliz (2002) achieved platinum status. Horkýže Slíže is known for their humorous lyrics and parodies, with notable songs including "Vlak".
