From singer-songwriter to jazz and pop, from Bach to Peter Gabriel to Bill Evans, his artistry explores emotion through melody and meaning, grounded in sincerity, spiritual curiosity, and resilience. Someone once called him a “Love Poet”. He himself has labeled his music Existential Campfire Anthems. Notable side projects include the folk-pop project Sawdust and Rust and his 1980s pop moniker, Rik Rivera. He´s written a few musicals as well, among which Närmare Kanten has taken on a life of its own with several independent productions in Sweden and Norway.
