Boppin'B, a German rock and rock’n’roll group originating from Aschaffenburg, was formed in 1985 by guitarist Golo Sturm and drummer Thomas Weiser, who recruited vocalist Dirk Hartmann and bassist Uli Monjau to complete the lineup; the ensemble began performing under the name Boppin' Bunny and the Be Bop Boys before adopting the shortened moniker Boppin'B for their first official concert at the Irish Pub in late 1985. The band’s breakthrough came with the release of their debut LP Bee Bop in 1989 through the independent label VAMP-Records, establishing a foundation for a career marked by energetic live shows and a diverse sound that incorporates ska, swing, punk rock, and pop elements. Their 2004 single "If You Believe" reached the German charts, while the 2004 album Bop Around The Pop peaked at number 39 in Germany. Over the following decade, Boppin'B continued to release studio albums such as B.a.n.g. – Balls Are No Goods (2010), Monkey Business (2012), The Bop Won’t Stop (2017), and We Don’t Care (2020), and toured extensively.
