Alfred García Castillo, born on March 14, 1997 in El Prat de Llobregat, Catalonia, is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He began formal training in vocals and trombone at seven and later became self-taught in guitar, drums, and keyboard. García gained national recognition by participating in series nine of Operación Triunfo in 2017, finishing fourth. Alongside Amaia Romero, he represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with "Tu canción", placing twenty-third. Following his participation in Operación Triunfo, García released his first studio album 1016 under Universal Music Spain in December 2018, which debuted at Number two on the Spanish Albums Chart. In January 2021, he released "Los Espabilados" and followed it with the album 1997, debuting at Number five on the Spanish Albums Chart. García also participated in Benidorm Fest 2023 and won Tu cara me suena in June 2023.
