Jovan Landry is a Chicago-based multidisciplinary artist proclaimed as the “1/3 Filmmaker, 1/3 Photographer and 1/3 Emcee”. She is known for her articulate lyrics centered around self empowerment & perseverance accompanied by a magnetic stage presence that commands a crowd. In 2017, Jovan received the WeWork Creator Awards grant to create Synergy, the first all-women/femme produced, performed, and engineered hip-hop album, which garnered opportunities from hosting events & workshops, album archived by the Universal Hip-Hop Museum, and invited on Windy City Live ( WLS ABC-7) & the Women in Hip-Hop Conference at St. Louis University. Presently, Jovan continues to lend vocals for features, perform, and flex her music production skill by dropping singles and producing record for recording & dance artists.
