Sea of Green was a Canadian rock band formed in 1999 in Toronto, consisting of Travis Cardinal, Eric Kuthe on bass, and Chris Bender. The group initially gained traction with their six-track EP Northern Lights, released in June 2000 under the Music Cartel label. Their full-length debut album, Time to Fly, followed in 2001, produced by Nick Blagona.
In 2003, Sea of Green introduced drummer Matt Dowd and released their final album, Chemical Vacation. The band disbanded in 2004 due to long-standing difficulties with their record label. Notable compilation appearances include "Move the Mountains" on This Dark Reign (2000), "Annihilation" on Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles (2001), and "High For The Ride" on High Volume: The Stoner Rock Collection (2004).
