Earth Trax is one of the many nom de plumes used by Polish music producer and DJ Bartosz Kruczyński. Though Earth Trax music is squarely based in thoroughly danceable house music, it leans toward a more wistful, almost sad emotional register. After a series releases under different names, most notably The Phantom, and for different labels throughout the 2010s, Kruczyński teamed with fellow record maker Newborn Jr. for some tracks, including the 2018 “If You”. that were released by Shall Not Fade, one of the premiere techno labels in the UK. The first album credited to Earth Trax, LP1, came out in March of 2020. Its combination of moodier sounds (synthesizers and yearning vocals) along with insistent yet subtly shifting rhythms won the album rave reviews.
