The Salteens, a Canadian indie pop group from Vancouver, British Columbia, formed in 1997. In 2000, the band released th full-length album, Short-Term Memories, on Endearing Records. This album topped Canada's national college-radio chart and earned a nomination for Best Alternative Album at the Canadian Music Week's 2001 Independent Music Awards. In 2003, they released their second album, Let Go of Your Bad Days, produced by Kevin Kane. The band toured extensively, building a fan base across Canada, Australia, Japan, and the United States. Their song "Nice Day" was featured in a Zellers commercial in 2007. The Salteens released their subsequent full-length album, Grey Eyes, in 2010 on Boompa Records, which appeared on the !Earshot National Top 50 Chart.
