Javelin Boot was a pop band formed in Texas, United States of America, in 1978 by guitarist Dan O'Neill, bassist Blake Patterson, and drummer David Mider. They released their albums The Schwa Sound in 1988 and The Mauve Album in 1989. In 1995, Javelin Boot signed with Pravda Records and released "For Those About to Pop" and "Fundamentally Sound." The band's music gained notable exposure through its use in television episodes of Melrose Place and Party of Five. Javelin Boot disbanded in 1998.
