Longtime friends and musicians, Kota, Siffli and Stik took interest in computer-assisted music in 2014. They soon felt the need to create a collective. The early days were heavily influenced by 90’s Hip-Hop and the art of sampling, sounds that can be found on their debut album “Vitelloni” in 2015.
Their next project, “Nuit de Flânerie”, released in 2019 is a turning point in terms of artistic vision. They brought a more electronic texture and higher production standards. Spleen took his first step in the crew by creating the artwork.
Shortly after, TheMicmac joined the crew. He and Kota started to work on the sample-fueled “Tales of the Thick Smoke” which saw release in 2020. Art’ and Spleen gathered with their four fellows that same year while Kota issued his first solo effort “Circadian Rhythms”.
Following the release of several singles and a remix EP with other artists, 2021 will especially be the year of “Lamplighters”, their first album as a sextet.
