Udora, a Brazilian rock band from Belo Horizonte, was formed in 1997 and originally consisted of Gustavo Drummond, Jean Dolabella, Leo Marques, and Thiago Correa. Initially known as Diesel, their initial breakthrough came when they won the Escalada do Rock contest, which led them to perform at Rock in Rio 3 alongside Deftones and Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2001. The band moved to Los Angeles, signed with J Records, and changed their name to Udora in 2002 due to issues with a fashion house. Udora released their debut album Liberty Square in 2005. After touring with Jerry Cantrell, they parted ways with J Records due to management changes. In 2006, Correa and Dolabella left the band, leading to the cancellation of their scheduled Brazilian tour. Udora returned to Brazil and released Goodbye, Alô in 2007, followed by Belle Époque in 2011.
