Claire Hayek is a Lebanese-born Canadian artist, a multi-faceted musician and entrepreneur, born with music in her blood and rhythm at her fingertips.
Whether you heard her music on the radio or on TV shows, through Montreal’s music scene or the international stage, Claire is a singer-songwriter-producer you don’t want to miss.
Determined to spread her passion to the world, she founded her own label, IDEK Records, in 2003 and released her first album ‘Intention’ in 2009. The best way to describe her music, whether she is writing, singing, mashing or performing it, is pure and uncomplicated.
Many singles followed shortly after and collaborations with renowned DJs such as Blond:ish, Robson Vidal, DJ Yovan, Criss Wave to name a few (2010-2012). In 2013, she signed and joined ‘l’Esprit des Vents’, a world music all-female group, as the lead singer and drummer. She co-produced their 3 albums that earned much recognition across North America.
Ambitious and an entrepreneur at heart, she launched two businesses in 2015: ‘My Studio Party’ and ‘MSP Teambuilding’ so she can combine her passion for music and her love of business.
In 2022, she announces the release of her new single ‘On se Tient’, which demonstrates an emotional maturity and resilience that is key in these difficult times.
