Furslide was an alternative rock band from New York, formed in early 1997. The group consisted of Jennifer Turner on guitars and vocals, Jason Lader on bass guitar, and Adam MacDougall on drums. Furslide's debut album, Adventure, was released on October 6, 1998, via Meanwhile..., a sublabel of Virgin Records. The album featured notable tracks such as "Love Song" and "Over My Head", the latter of which appeared on the soundtrack for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Furslide opened for several prominent acts including Lenny Kravitz, Kula Shaker, Alanis Morissette, and Ben Folds. The band disbanded in 1999.
