Fans of Coeur de Pirate, don't expect any new songs in the Coeur de Pirate tradition with Armistice, here everything is sung in English. Armistice is the duo that Béatrice Martin forms with Jay Malinowski, her partner in life. Their inspiration lies more in their alternative folk rock, reminiscent of Calexico, the unsurpassed model of the genre. The five tracks on the Armistice EP, released in February 2011, are nonetheless a delight to savor.
