Sturm Café, an electronic body music band from Gävle, Sweden, was founded in 2001 by Gustav Jansson and Jonatan Löftstedt. The duo began their musical journey as teenagers, experimenting with instruments in Jansson's father's studio. They initially released demo cassette tapes under the name The Xenophobian Alliance before adopting Sturm Café, influenced by EBM bands like DAF and Front 242. Their breakthrough came with the album So Seelisch, So Schön! in November 2005, which reached position 75 on the Swedish official album sell chart. They signed with Progress Productions and played shows in Germany. In 2010, Sturm Café opened for Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft at BIMFest in Belgium and started their own label, SCR (Sturm Café Releases), releasing the single "Koka Kola Freiheit". Notable releases include Tot EP (March 2008) and Europa! (April 2015).
