Born Rozelsky Steve Lie-A-Jen, Keizer is the Surinamese rapper of the TRIFECTA roster. Calling the Netherlands his home since the age of two, he dropped his first-ever mixtape (‘Straattegisch’) in 2009, gained nation-wide recognition for ‘Mama Sorry’ and signed with record label Nindo later that year. It has been quite the rollercoaster ride since.
After picking up a State Award for the best ‘101Barz-sessie’ of 2010 and a TMF Award for Best Dutch hip-hop artist in 2011, he went on to rack up millions of streams on Spotify with an array of reputable tracks. The success of singles such as ‘Omlaag’ (2015), ‘Plus Min’ (2016) and ‘Zonde’ (2017) led him to today, on the verge of dropping a brand-new EP. And it is here where Keizer continues to build the career he’s already laid the foundations of.
