Wael Koudaih, known professionally as Rayess Bek, was born on November 9, 1979, in Beirut, Lebanon, and is a French-Lebanese musician. Working under the stage name Rayess Bek, he became active in the Arab urban music scene during the 2000s. His solo debut, عم بحكي بالسكوت. In the 2010s, his work increasingly moved toward interdisciplinary and performative forms. He has also collaborated on a range of interdisciplinary projects spanning music, dance, theater, and visual arts.
