Nive Nielsen is an Inuit singer from Greenland. After studying anthropology in Canada and the UK, she discovered her passion for music and composed her first ukulele tracks in the winter of 2008. She then toured the world with her partner, meeting musicians and producers to record her tracks. The result is Nive Sings!, the first album recorded with The Deer Children and released on June 25, 2012. A real star in her homeland, Nive Nielsen has sold 5,000 copies of this record in a country with 58,000 pairs of ears.
