Scorpion Child, an American rock band from Austin, Texas, was formed in 2006 by Aryn Jonathan Black and guitarist Asa Savage. They signed with Nuclear Blast and released their debut album Scorpion Child in 2013, which reached number 31 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The single "Polygon of Eyes" from this album was featured as the iTunes single of the week in June 2013. Following lineup changes, Scorpion Child released Acid Roulette in 2016, peaking at number 19 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The band went through several hiatuses and reforms. In 2024, they released their third album I Saw the End As It Passed Right Through Me, incorporating influences from dark wave and post-punk into their hard rock sound.
