Caiti Baker, born in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, is a singer-songwriter, producer, harmony arranger, and vocal engineer. Raised on gospel, jazz, and blues, Baker began recording songs at age 12. In 2009, she formed the duo Sietta with James Mangohig, releasing two studio albums and touring internationally before disbanding in 2014. Baker's solo career started in 2015 when she signed to Perambulator Records. Her debut single "Heavy On My Heart" was released in August 2016, followed by her first album Zinc in October 2017, which received critical acclaim and charted at number 44 on Double J's Top 50 Albums of 2017. In 2018, she won the Northern Territory Best Live Voice of the Year award. Her second album, Mary of the North, was released on June 19, 2020.
