Eugène Victor Bigot, also known as Eugène Bigot, born on February 28, 1888, in Rennes, France, was a French composer and conductor. He studied at the Conservatoire de Paris under Xavier Leroux, André Gedalge, and Paul Vidal. His conducting career began in January 1913 at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Post-World War I, he worked with Désiré-Émile Inghelbrecht and led the Ballets suédois, with whom he toured from 1920 to 1923. He served as Second Chef at the Société des Concerts du Conservatoire in 1923 and later became the Director of Music and First Conductor at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Bigot notably led the Orchestre symphonique de la Radiodiffusion Française from 1947 until his death on July 17, 1965.
