Siranush Harutyunyan, known professionally as Sirusho, was born on January 7, 1987, in Yerevan, Soviet Armenia. She is an Armenian singer and songwriter who began her musical journey at a young age, winning her first award for the song "Lusabats" at nine years old. Her debut studio album Sirusho was released in 2000 when she was just 13 years old. In 2005, Sirusho released her second album Sheram. She gained international recognition after representing Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with "Qélé, Qélé," finishing fourth in the final. The song became a hit in Europe. In 2017, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Armenia by President Serzh Sargsyan.
