Rahim Shah, born on December 12, 1975, in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, is a Pakistani pop singer, composer and music producer, predominantly working in Pashto music industry. He began his solo career in the late 1990s with successful singles and released his debut album Dheerey Dheerey in 1999. His breakthrough came with the album Ghum, which featured the hit single "Pehle Toh Kabhi Kabhi Ghum Tha". This song gained significant attention from both Pakistani and Indian audiences. Rahim Shah's subsequent albums include Sadma Bewafa Ka (2001) and Channa (2002). He has also ventured into film and contributed to the soundtrack of the Pakistani movie Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa in 2002. His music has spanned multiple languages, including Pashto, Urdu, and Punjabi, reflecting his diverse cultural heritage.
